Making something taboo only makes it more inciting,,, it’s only human nature.
And one thing liberals and the PC crowd don’t accept in thier whacked out ideas, is curiosity in Human's will always prevail.

Re: Important must read, “ save German WWII amour

I do understand that the Swazi is a touchy subject, with some particularly in Germany.
There is still a deep shame felt by the German people about the war and they are constantly vigil about any attempt by right wing groups to use the Swazi as some sort of rallying flag.

I too understand the reasons why Germany deals with Nazi symbolism as it does, and I can respect that. I think they want to really demonstrate that the German govrnment is serious about quashing any remnants of that belief system and have adopted a zero tolerance posture.

I also believe that it is important to remember and to study the history of the Nazi party, and the dynamics that allowed such a belief system to rise to power and pose a very real threat to the rest of the world. The Ostrich approach serves nobody's best interest.

Yes true! Stalin killed more Russians than the Germans did to them and others. The hammer and sickle should be banned then too????

Here...go play with you Play Station 3 system with that new game you got for your birthday...'Grand Thieft Auto' from your mother and I. Re: Important must read, “ save German WWII amour

You can view a swastika on the cover of many a trashy novel in CVS stores... and the symbol is not only present, but embossed, printed on metallic paper, on a book of no historical value etc.

Yet I can't get a fargan Bf 109 with accurate markings.

I think Ike made the wrong choice when he essentially forced Finland to change their national symbol postwar. "No swastika will fly over Europe again" was the sentiment, but I think it was a precident-setting overreaction.

Re: Important must read, “ save German WWII amour

I just read this on 21stcenturytoys.com. In light of how much of 21st Century's product is German, maybe they changed their policy?

21st is back into Toys "R" Us!
6/15/07
On March 11, 1942 Lt. Gen. Douglas MacArthur is ordered to evacuate the Philippine Islands including efforts to repel the Invading Japanese Army. In his famous speech he vows, “I shall return.” Over two years passed and MacArthur returned to the Philippines, fulfilling that promise and emerges victorious.

Today 21st Century Toys celebrates a homecoming all it’s own. It’s with a sense of victory and my extreme pleasure to announce the return of 21st Century Toys Products to Toys “R” Us!

Toys “R” Us was the birthplace and home for the first 21st Century Toys products starting with 1:6 and coining the name “Ultimate Soldier”, a name that has become a basic description for the scale military industry. It was shortly thereafter that 1:32 and 1:18 scale products were developed. The newest generation of scale accurate tanks, aircraft, playsets, accessories, and soldiers were born. Many years have since passed and many new products have been added to the fan’s collections. New product lines have emerged like 1:48 and 1:144 scales. It seems only fitting that 21st Century Toys products are to be offered and sold through Toys “R” Us once again!

Exact details are still under wraps, however AREA-21 has been informed that a full line of military figures and vehicle will be offered once again! The CEO from 21st has been quoted as saying “We are certainly proud to once again see our product back on the shelves of Toys “R” Us. We had been gone too long and our fans have sorely missed our presence there. We look forward to a long and healthy relationship with Toys “R” Us”.

The hobby continues to grow! This rejuvenated relationship with Toys “R” Us and the addition of another mass retailer is another signal to the fans that 21st Century Toys has always been, and will always offer the best scale military products at a price that is affordable for everyone! We look forward to the future as it continues to shine bright!

Re: Important must read, “ save German WWII amour

I was just on EBAY and if they were actually serious about this they would eliminate the WW2 German militaria section, but as of 5 minutes ago there was still over 6000 auctions running for that stuff
