New Aviation Art Release

I'm quite a fan of Trudgian's work and his new release looks incredible

THE BATTLE FOR NEW YEARS DAY by Nicolas Trudgian
In his P51D Mustang ‘Moonbeam McSwine’, Captain ‘Whiz’ Whisner leads Red Section of the 487th FS 352nd FG
headlong into the defense of their airfield at Asch, Belgium. At dawn, on the New Year’s Day of 1945, Whisner was to be responsible for four of the twenty three German fighters of JG11 shot down by the 352nd. So rapid was the American response that the German attack was repelled, and the 487th was subsequently awarded a Distinguished Unit Citation.

As I am as well...BUT NOT of the "700 club". Me sorry Pat Roberts, but your one-sided show stinks. Since there is not a "0/10 smiley sign", I have to give it a

I do like Trudgian Prints, but he does like his bright colours.

My Favorite is "Their Finest Hour", showing the Spitfires taking off from Hawkinge during the BoB. I have it on my wall and it is one of the few I do not rotate.

I recently purcased "Thunderbolts and Lightnings " and " KURSK - Clash Of Steel".

I think I might try and pick this new one up at the next air show I go to.

I think what Mikey is saying is he is not a fan of Pat Roberts or his 700 Club. That right Mike?

Yes, that is right Elmer. Guess some got it and some did not.
I have some aviation art and really enjoy enjoy them, though I don't have them framed as of yet (due to 'wall shortage' in my den). The subject in the picture just seems to jump right out at you and you can feel the 'dogfight' or whatever is happening at this very minute. The 4 pieces that I have also have the pilots signature and his plane pictured. About as close as you can get from actually being right there!
