5 Months, 31 Planes, $650.40

I was looking over my aircraft collection this past week and realized that I have been a member of this forum for 5 months. During that time, I have purchased 31 planes from members of this forum for a total of $650.40 (which averages out to $20.98 including shipping per plane). Personally, I think that is a heck of a deal.

It has now been about 3 years since I bought my first diecast from Tuesday Morning. It was a Corgi 1:32 Stinger VII.I now have in excess of 100 different die cast ariplanes including 1:32, 1:72, 1:48, and 1:144 scale, with the majority being 1:72 scale World War 2 aircraft including American, Japanese, British, and German planes. I do have a few Vietnam and Korea era a/c and a few WW 1 aircraft along with 2 helicopters.

Soon I hope to photograph them and feature them in the collection forum.

In any case, it has been a fun 5 months. You guys have informed me, educated me, and made me laugh.

Thanks for everything, and I look forward to the future.

31 planes in 5 months.....pretty good record you got going there...
It will only get bigger as the years go by...
That would be nice to see pictures of them someday too.

Re: 5 Months, 31 Planes, $650.40

I started collecting about 1 and a half year ago and since that time i have bought 23 FOV Tanks and Artillery, 5 Minichamps Tanks and Artillery, 5 large Battle Ships in Scale 1/550 and larger and finally 49 Corgi Planes. Now i ran out of enough space to display it and will have to think what i will purchase next. Next year looks good for me, many Gemini Aces, new FOV Tanks and finally some new Corgi Planes (Especially German Planes)... only my purse and my room to display them won't be that happy
