Looks like a Fiat CR 41 or possibly a CR 40.

This one was not one of Fiats planes.

Its a CG-4A with outboard motors, but thats as far as I go. I bet you loose cargo space for feul on that death trap. I'll stick to parachutes.

This was one was put out by Northwestern and was either a PG-1 or PG-2A. As you stated basically a powered WACO.

That would be a Brewster XSBA-1 prototype of the short-lived SBN-1 scout bomber which entered U.S.N. service around 1940.
