Re: Quiz, Can you name this plane

It is not a Bristol Bombay, though the two aircraft do look very similar and at the time period often mistaken for one another.

The only other one I can think of is a H.P. Harrow, but the nose doesn't look right.

Ooops!

Re: Quiz, Can you name this plane

And this one's a Henschel Hs.122 light observation plane. By the way, I checked through all of my references for German light aircraft, including the Gotha you pictured, and couldn't find it. Talk about obscure.

You nailed down identity on this one. Nice looking plane too and definitely looks similar the Hs 126.

I think it's the Handley Page HP 54 Harrow also.

You pegged it this time. Two sure do very similar and one of the early 1940s Aeroplane publications has article specifically for pointing out the differences between the two.

Since you are answering these so quickly, I will just have to add another.

Looks like a Fiat CR 41 or possibly a CR 40.

Its a CG-4A with outboard motors, but thats as far as I go. I bet you loose cargo space for fuel on that death trap. I'll stick to parachutes.
