Aeronca 100. One of these, G-AEVS is still flying on a regular basis at Breighton, not that far from where I live.

I have an Aeronca C-3 30 inch wingspan rubber powered job that is very similar to the Aeronca 100. (Looks pretty good in flight too.)

P.S. In the States we call the Aeronca C-2 and C-3 the Flying Bath Tub, I saw one at the Antique Flyin at Merced California one year.

First clue on this one is that it is not of French origin, but from a smaller European country.

Clue number 2. Both planes I posted are from small European countries, and these countries are adjacent to each other.
Clue number 3. Monoplane in picture is prototype, production aircraft had retractable landing gear and wing went from low set gull wing to a mid wing mounting.

Aircraft not a Saab 17 and not of Swedish origin. (Rules out Sweden, Norway and Finland.)

Your are correct on that FK-56, at least you now know the country the Biplane is from.
