Re: Quiz, Can you name this plane

Has anyone snapped this airframe up, or is it still there?

No, sadly when I returned, two years after this photo' was taken, the cockpit/firewall/front-fuselage had gone - the owner mumbling "nothing but trouble".........(?)....... I think he was still refering to his stupid (ten-a-penny Articulated-Trailer)

I was stunned into silence; thinking that this priceless 'exhibit' was left exposed to the elements - to rot !!!!!!!!!!!

I did chat to a couple of locals, who said they remembered the "Old-Warplane" but it wasn't there anymore.

An absolute choker - made worse by the fact that I was reliant on someone else's camera (always happens when you've never got one handy)

To find such a rare beast as late (recently) as August 1995 staggers the imagination !!!!!!!!!!

Where is it now ????????? Good question............... (anyone got any ideas ?)

Re: Quiz, Can you name this plane

What aircraft is this the front office too? Should be real easy, and a real nice photo.

Not sure about the "should be real easy" bit !!!!!!!! (maybe if you know the answer, it is !!!!!!!)

I reckon judging by the windshield & the amount of glass-work, it's an Avro Anson ???????
