You are right. This one's too easy. It's a Blohm & Voss BV 141.

You are right. This one's too easy. It's a Blohm & Voss BV 141.

And you are lightning fast! Still have a couple Airfix kits of this one.

You do bring up a good point, not the plane you would want to take off on a rough airstrip with.

Found another interesting plane to provide an identification challenge.



Picture from All the World's Helicopters and Rotorcraft - the most complete helicopter collection in the world. Helicopters, autogyros, tilt-rotors, tilt-wings etc.

Found another interesting plane to provide an identification challenge.


Gloster F.9/37 with Peregrine engines. The other prototype had Taurus engines. Quite a capable aircraft and it was proposed that a later version with Merlin engines be built. In the end though only the first two prototypes were built.

That is a correct identification, now take a crack at the other twin tailed job.

I'm struggling a bit with that one, a bit of reseach required.
