I am fairly sure I have come across this one before, but can not put a name to it (Yep, it is time to say "Uncle") . You got me stumped on this one.

You are right in that it is patterned after the De Havilland Mosquito, but aircraft is not of British make.

I seem to recall something like this was made in Argentina shortly after WWII.

It's the I.Ae.24 Calquin.

That is it! Talk about an odd looking plane. Pratt&Whitney R-1830s instead of Rolls-Royce Merlins, not a sleek looking plane at all.
