That the British government would even entertain the idea of denying entry to this man is disgusting. For it to require a public outcry and humiliation to correct this injustice
shows that, in spite of all its current political problems there is still, deep in the British parliament a colonial mentality that will soon, hopefully, go the way of the dinosaur.
The Gurkha's fighting prowess and unwavering loyalty is legendary and any man who has served with them knows what I'm talking about, if, as a final payment for services rendered
they request a fair and equitable pension or resettlement to England then Her Majesty should do what's RIGHT . These men will never do anything other than protect and serve the Crown so where is the harm. I'm sure there are less desirable individuals routinely emigrating to the UK without question.
