I just saw that one in a magazine the other day along with the Mustangs.
That is on cool looking PA-48.

I wonder! did I see this in a museum in Germany?

Yup its an experimental Stol called a ?????????????? Its in a museum near Munich. oooh heck , that place where they trained pilots during the war.

Tisk , I have photos somewhere. They have an He 177 engine unit there and .

I know its a Dornier but.....................

Thats cheating Gort, But I know what it is, a carrier plane (FAA) with a really brutal engine (contra prop). and I think it was the last piston carrier fighter/bomber the navy had.

There is one at the FAA at Yoevilton.
