Re: Guess the Plane

Okay, guess this one?

Off the top of my head, I would say that is a Taube.

Re: Guess the Plane

Not so fast Captain Eddie and flyXwire! Taube was a generic name, meaning "dove" in German, used for early monoplanes with a similar general lay out. So the question still is out there: What kind of Taube? I know the answer but I'll give you another chance.

Thumbs up Re: Guess the Plane

I want to say that's a Dassault Mystere but I'm not positive

CORRECT !

It's the Mystère IVN. A two seat all weather developpement of the Mystère IVA, on the way that ultimately led to the Super-Mystère B2 supersonic day fighter.

Fine as it was, it was never ordered, because the superior SO 4050 Vautour IIN (my avatar) had been choosen in the first place, and Fiat made F86K's were supplied to France.
