Bolkhovitinov Bi-1

Well, you got the 'BI-1' designation part right I'll give you that, but it's actually the name given below.

Bereznyakov & Isaev BI-1

It could even be a Berezniak-Isaev B1-1.
I believe Stalin saw the plans and approved its development.

Re: Guess the Plane

Hey Jimmy, did you catch the Flying Mule sale on the Carousel 1 P-40 for $40 a few days ago? Do you have a C1 P-40 already?

AAAargh, No!! $40 for a C1 P40 what a deal that was and I missed it. I do have a Carousel P40 thanks to Mustangdrivers help.
Its sitting in the loft until I get my cabinet sorted.
Its funny but since I finished work it seems that I have even less time to spend on my hobby.
I still have a pile of P40 books to sort out and read ,
I picked up a copy of Aircam P40 drawings on ebay, lots of schemes in there to keep Corgi busy for the next ten years.

Oh and that bathroom ceiling is not painted yet.

God Bless America.

I think Bereznyakov and Isaev belonged to Bolkhovitinov's team...

Designed by Bereznyakov and Isaev under supervision of Bolkhovtinov.
First flew in Sept 1941 but not for long!

Anybody for this French Baron hybrid ?

Well, it's the SFERMA PD146 "Marquis", powered by 2 Turbomeca Astazou Turboprops.

Re: Guess the Plane

I'd post them myself, but do not know how. How about posting some obscure WW I aircraft?
