Ohhhh yes and this one is a howl.
Not long ago I purchased a few Minichamps Armor items from someone
who looked to be a reputable seller. Boy, was I wrong! The seller stated that the item had been briefly displayed but in mint condition / like brand new. What I got was items that had been displayed for years and covered in dust. Now I'm not talking about that fine white dust that all collectors contend with; I'm talking about heater vent dust. The black brown nasty crap.
As you can imagine I was unhappy with what occurred and tried to contact the seller via EBay with no success. So I opened a Pay-pal dispute which froze the transactions cash and the seller immediately contacted me. Whats funny is that he said the items where in perfect condition when he sent them.
I guess that in his home state crud must magically cover the items while traveling through the US Postal Service. Anyways, after a bit of a battle he finally offered me my request of a 40% credit to rectify the situation. I never left feedback since I am still waiting for the seller to draw his gun first.
The good news is that hiding under all the dust was three near mint Minichamp tanks

. You would think that a seller would try to clean up the items first or properly state the condition to avoid any future problems.
"I guess that would be asking too much from some people".
