Re: Who Killed the Red Baron?

I was not able to watch much of the program, though I did tape it. I had to rush to the hospital to see my Mom and Dad as they were involved in an accident (they are ok, tho Dad has a couple of broken ribs, and a huge knot on his head). I did watch a few minutes at the end, however, and at least that portion seemed to be indicating he was shot down by ground fire. This is the conclusion I came to, after reading a couple of books on the subject. Though we can, as noted, never know for sure, the evidence seems to be pretty conclusive.

I heard it was Professor Plum, in the conservatory, with the pistol.

Re: Who Killed the Red Baron?

Good news Captain Eddie!

Glad to hear that your parents are shaken but well.

As for the Red Baron, after reviewing the evidence dug up in the documentary which I found last week mislabeled, I think that there is now a good case for saying that ground action did for him. However, would he have been so exposd to the ever-present danger of ground fire if he hadn't been in the tussle with Brown in the first place?

Brown should still be accorded the merit of this epic 15 round bout!
