Talking Re: Model stores in Europe.

Hey, how big is this 7 year-old, Shawn? Does he have a blue and red suit with a giant " S " on it?

That all sounds like my kind of playground.

Re: Model stores in Europe.

Heck my 7 yr old can beat that. Not only can he see / play on the tanks here on the Post Museum. Once a month I can take him out to the range where he gets to pull the trigger on the M4 Carbine, M249 SAW, M240 MG, M24 Sniper Rifle, and the coax to the Bradley. All we have left to shoot are the 25mm on the Bradley, Mk19 40mm grenade launcher and M2 .50 cal HMG. Oh and he has jumped the 34 foot mock jump tower at the Airborne school 14 times, and climbed all over the M1A1 Abrams.

I want to be 7 again and live at Fort Benning.

Shame you are missing out Amsterdam the Aviation Megastore (AKA Luchtvaart Hobby Shop)is superb (Check out their web site) I just received the HMaster F-104 JASDF 207 sq
pretty quick compared to some retailers who are still quoting mid-July end of June.

Re: Model stores in Europe.

I'm pretty sure the Europe/UK shipments from HobbyMaster usually make it to their destination a few weeks before the North American shipment, thusly the earlier shipping dates to customers.

That may be true but in Europe Aviation Megastore is pretty much the first also when contacting dealers/distributors I am normally told that If If I see a Corgi and sometimes HM model at Flying Mule UK will be a few days or a week later :-) but at the moment I wouldnt swear one way or the other sometimes it seems like pot luck.......... :-)( I sadly spend many hours trawling the RSS feeds and Online retailers (Billy No Mates).

I thought your name is Paul? I will defer to your obsessiveness in this case.

Re: Model stores in Europe.

Fellas-

I'm planning a trip to Europe this summer, where I will be covering several countries in a 2-week period. Does any one know of good model stores in the following cities:

1) London
2) Paris
3) Munich
4) Salzburg
5) Rome

Thanks for your inputs.
