Re: Best Active Service Dogfighter

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, including that of the F-104 Starfighter

Thank you (Especially as you never mentioned C**ck*t in your reply.)

Re: Best Active Service Dogfighter

I guess they can peek underneath the EOTECH and use the iron sights that Colt gave them.

Jezz, obviously you don't have a clue. When one mounts the Eotech for use Within Visual Range (WVR), one must mount the additional Back-up Iron Sight (BIS). If you don't have your BIS, then your SOL when the batteries die or go TU. Most hooahs don't carry the old Carrying Handle With Integrated Iron Sight (CHWIIS) that Colt provided with the M4.
So when you leave the FOB to go set up your ORP, and your batteries go TU and you don't have your BIS. Your SOL, unless the XO brings you some Class 9. As for attachments, I'd go with the ACOG, A/N- PEQ-2, BIS and maybe a quick detach Surefire.
TH you really do need to do your homework.

Don't forget the laser grips for the 9mm.

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.

Laser grips on a 9mm? Cheesy.

Of course, Shawn probably has all his nines loaded up with surefires and laser grips....

Re: Best Active Service Dogfighter

No laser grips or bells and whistles for my .45 or 9mm. I was taught and trained how to shoot, I don't need the easy out lasers provide.

My brother is into this hunting and shooting stuff. He goes to Scotland deerhunting for the Forestry commision.
Sometimes I get to have venison steaks for tea.

I tried out a rifle with lazer sights at his gun club once, heck even I can hit stuff with one of those fitted.

He has the same problem with his hobby that I have with mine, keeping the little lady in the dark as to how much he spends!

It near broke his heart when hand guns were banned and he had to take his collection down to the police station.

He now owns about 8 rifles, crazy dont you think, whats the difference?
If he went crazy he could kill just as many with his rifles as with hand guns, he owns a pump shotgun for game shooting and that is as dangerous as any hand gun.

Sometimes the law can take some figuring out.

Btw in the UK to be allowed to shoot deer you have to be licenced, My brother even went to school to study Deer husbandry and how to butcher the carcass.
Not for me but he lives for his hobby.
Each to his own.

He asked me to ask you guys if any of you know where he can get a barrel blank for a 25 cal 1in10 twist, stainless no4 profile LIL5a or Krieger.
I havnt got a clue what he means but maybe some of you do, if you can help him give me a pm please.

OOps sorry I went way off topic there.
