M26 paint

Has anyone ever seen M26 Pershings in paint schemes other than olive drab? If so let me know where I can find pictures. Thanks

Nope, unless one counts "Tigers" (mostly M26A1, though) of Korean war. However, if some company will decide to make the natural progression of M-26, M-47, then the possibilities are there, with Jordanian and Pakistani M-47s being most prominent.

Sergey

I agree, in order to get the variety needed they definitely would have to include the M47 which did have different paint schemes.

Re: M26 paint

The only other WW2 scheme that the T26E3/M-26 wore besides OD, was black over OD in a stripe pattern. Now granted there was only one Super Pershing during the war, but if HM were to do that one... it would be way cool !!
And you know about the tiger faced ones in Korea, but I think 3rd ID had some with thier broken TV patch on the glacis as well.

Re: M26 paint

The other option is to include M-45 with 105mm howitzer instead of 90mm main gun. However, there were significant differences between M-26 (A1) and M-46, M-47, and M-47M, which should be taken into account.

Sergey
