Not a fetish DC, just good taste - you can never have enough 1/32 Corgi Spitfires, goes against the laws of die-cast collecting (You really need the prototype Spit though to round out your collection!)

| Re: Fetish, anyone? Yeah, after 30 years of being enamored w/ WWII a/c I've got a few fetishes. Insignia: The 1938-era German fuselage cross. Just love the proportions of that period. Late September '39 German wing cross, full chord of course. March 1942 era oversized US insignia w/ pre-war center. 1938 British fin flash. Big, bold, beautiful. Paint: RLM 63 and 02. Those shades of sage green/grey just get me going. Planes: The Zero, any version except the Hamp. The -5 Corsair, four bladed, dark blue all over. Any USN a/c with an orange Naval Reserve fuselage stripe. How can you lose. 1939 era Hurricane, earth-n-green. My hero. Any 109 except the Bf 109T. The B-50 version of the Superfort. Love those engines! Any Ki-21 Sally, but the prewar greenhouse w/ hard line paint segmentation is near-n-dear. The Devastator, Lt. Cmdr. Waldron's mount. Because he's the guy, and that was his ship. Tanks: The M3 Lee/Grant series. Any Panzer IV based tank: Brummbar, Wirbelwind, etc. No a bad one in the bunch. The Maus. Both of 'em. Matilda II, 'cause she was the Queen of the desert, y'know? Battleships: The biggest always inspired me: Hood Bismark Yamato Missouri | |||||||||||||

There's a Tuck 1/32 Spitfire?! I will have to go check out Tricatus' site for that. It sounds cool. I just got my first one; Bader's. All the versions I've seen look good.

| Re: Fetish, anyone?
Yes, its the first working range one. Only 1940 made and comes with working under cart, spinning prop, working lights and sound effects. The model looks very good, unlike the more recent Malan working range one. The Tuck is hard to find, is still quite expensive. Finding one with all the bits working is also very hard, as the under cart operation is very prone to failing.
