Re: What kind of a Collector are you?

Well i see we have more 1/72nd collectors on this forum then any other scale....
I thought there be a little more 1:48 collectors out there too.

JP

I'm a 1:72 scale collector myself - but like you I thought there would be more 1:48 collectors here.

Based on my similiar poll in March - 9% 1:48 "dominates your collection." In your poll, the 1:48 % jumps to over 20%! That's a big jump. (I wonder as more vote if this % will go down and the 1:72 increase.) However - in both polls the number of voters is not as high as I would expect. My poll died at 72 voters. You've got 50+ and will probably increase.

I saw your poll....But i started this one as a test bed for the 1:48 guys who were upset at another poll i started for them...
wanted to find out if there were more collectors in that 1:72nd area.
Now i'm thinking on this poll where are the 1:48 guys ??

Re: What kind of a Collector are you?

With so many new members, I wonder if it would be worthwhile re-opening this poll?

Re: What kind of a Collector are you?

My collection is pre dominately 1/72 for space reasons but recently have deviated off the path with good buys on two 1/32 Corgis and a 1/35 GMP but that will probably be it for the larger scales as I gotta draw a line somewhere!!

Re: What kind of a Collector are you?

1/72 with some 1/32 stuff but I find that takes up room way fast so I like to stick with 1/72

Re: What kind of a Collector are you?

Purely 1:72 scale with one new exception. Thanks to Pappy's pictures I've got a suddenly growing collection of SpecCast planes including 6 of their 1:48 scale Corsairs.
