Re: Spring Wonderland

Been there, done that too. Went to Disney, etc, then went over to the Gulf coast to relax in the ocean and the hotel pool.

The Gulf of Mexico is very nice on the West coast of Florida. Much nicer (and cleaner) than the Atlantic Ocean.

Re: Spring Wonderland

...And out here in California we complain when it hits 45 degrees at nite...

Depends what part of California you live in. Up here by the foothills of the Sierra Nevada where I live, we just got a dusting of fresh powder a week ago. Not that
I'm complaining, I haven't hung up my skis just yet.

Skunky, I feel your pain!

Re: Spring Wonderland

Down here flyXwire we would like alittle dusting or even some rain ( not the morning mist we get ). We barely have had 3" of rain this year which means the southern part of the state will probably be in for one nasty fire season.

Dilligafocau,
Is that a Gladiator you pictured? If you get to see that fly past on a regular basis, that would truly be magical.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: Spring Wonderland

I'm glad that all the snow has gone, Skunky. Now you can come out of hibernation. ( do skunks hibernate? Maybe it was deliberate? or vegitate? or cogitate? or ma.. Oh well, let's forget that one.

I'm just glad that the weather has picked up for you.

In Scotland it has been a pleasant, sunny 60+ ( No...I can't be bothered to work it out in Eurotemperature....and I don't care! ).

Is this spring or summer?

Re: Spring Wonderland

Yes, supposed to be sunny and in the 60s starting Friday....Can--not--wait.... (tired of hibernating, time to get out and get stung by wasps)

Being stung by wasps ain't my idea of fun. Better bring them liquid bug zappers out to full bore!

It is a Gladiator but it was wishful thinking on my part, its my corgi version I was playing around with in Paintshop.

That's why I never go outside in the summer without Mrs. "S" at my side....I can run faster than her.

Yeah, I have been trying to stop Lorraine snapping at them and eating them. Disgusting habit of hers.

I have to say that every time she sees another diecast parcel arrive she has a face like a Bulldog chewing a wasp!

God Bless America.
