Well, Friday I picked up my package at the Post Office from Aiken's! I've wanted to order something from these swell folks for a long time, and last week I got my chance. Nothing too exciting just:

-- AA34801,CORGI: NO 9 SQN VICKERS WELLINGTON
-- AA36804,CORGI: WESTLAND LYSANDER MKIIIA

The Wellington is JUST SUPERB!! This has been destined to sit with my Halifax Mk II. (See photo below). I can thank, I believe it was Starman, who dug into his CC Welly to fill the nose and paint the interior. Well, those photos got me looking at the Welly again. Yup -- I needed one and what a stunner! Oh yes, and someone there was kind enough to add candy to the shipmment -- oh I LOVE candy!

The JE•J Spit will sit with 'Friday the 13th' when it shows and the 'Spy Taxi' Mk III Lysander will be matched up with my Dams Lanc.



I love this above Early War RAF combo -- even my 'hot-rodded' Bader Warbird Spitfire Mk Va.
