Re: Tokyo Hobby Shops?

Good one Slammin, the wife and I visited the Yasukuni Shrine last year, you're very right about the interesting view they have about recent history??? Did they still have the amimation about the attack on Sydney Harbour?

The wife and I will be back in Japan next week and I havn't seen a CW as yet, what would be the best shop to spy/pick one up??

Cheers CKS1.

Re: Tokyo Hobby Shops?

CKS1,
Not sure about that animation. I might just have missed it.

For century wings, Topgun would be hard to beat. They had a healthy stock of all the CW releases, except the launch version of the jolly rogers. They also have the soon to be released grim reapers one on display and the FOV black aces for sale, which is unreleased in the US.

I forgot to mention that I also some rather nice looking 1/100 scale F-14 there. I forget what brand they were, but I think the picture of the black bunny F-14 in the post about the grim reapers release is one of these. There were nice looking models, but 1/100 scale just doesn't fit with the rest of my collection.

Hope you enjoy japan as much as I did.
Chris
