Historical Bob's Sherman Conversion in FineScale Modeler

Was in my local Hobby Shop today and picked up the May 2007 (I think it was May) issue of FSM magazine and low and behold what do I see on the cover (not the the main pic, but a smaller preview pic on the cover) and inside in a nice detailed article? But our own Historical Bob's (now known as A-109E on MHII) Franklin Mint Sherman Conversion project he so graciously shared with us! He mentioned that his project might be in FSM in this thread along with some pics....

Congrats Bob! Look forward to seeing more of your projects soon!

Bob S work always amazes me eversince his early works on superdaiting cockpits! In fact I still keep the FSM issue that featured his modeling prowess in my files.

I'll represent you Skunky. My firm and I- Dewey, Cheatem and Howe- specialize in Skunk (legal)Works. I figure all we have to do is prove your, uh....scent, on the Sherman.

Seriously, I totally missed that Historical Bob was on MH2 with a new alias. One of the greatest losses when MH1 went down was the loss of the thread with the photos and text describing this project. Absolutely amazing and fascinating work. If Bob still has his photos of the work in progress it would be a great post and read.

Uh..., ya know Skunky, let me get back to you about that. In fact, I'll have my paralegal get back to you. Come to think of it, maybe we'll just rely on eyewitness testimony, or some circumstantial evidence. Just hang on to your DNA for now.
