Now that you've all finished eating, perhaps you'll go back to flower arranging ...

Here you go - My favorite spring flower.

By the way did you know that they are fatal if eaten. My parents knew an expert and he told then that the fibers contain hundreds of tiny barbs, and will basically shred your insides.

Ooops!

Here's a pic of a hydrangea. We have a lot of them at the back of the garden ( where Skunky lives ). The locals put nails under them when they plant them. The iron turns them blue!

thanks for the pic, Yazuo!

Re: Nice Things to Talk About

Wow! Ours won't begin to bloom until April/May. Right now Iris are comming up and primrose. I like a garden that has a flower all throughout the season since we have alot of Humming birds and butterflies later in the spring/simmer we planted to attract them. This year I'll be working on bordering our home. We pulled all the Day lillys and sloped the ground away from the foundation so it's a matter of finding the right colors to border with. We have an Arbor to put in as well this year so that area is in the works. They keep hinting at curb appeal and everytime we drive up I see a nice clean quiet home on a corner that needs bordering.
