Re: Nice Things to Talk About

. After leaving M*A*S*H, he turned down several sitcoms, including a part on Newhart. However, he did return for two episodes of AfterMASH,

djjeffhall

Was " AfterMASH " some attempt to create a sitcom with some of the characters saved from MASH? We never heard of it here....it must have passed us by ( was that a good thing? )

Re: Nice Things to Talk About

ps,

thanks for all the intel on Radar, djjeffhall. Through the movie and the series, he became an iconic character in the US psyche, and became the 20th century personification/reinvention of all those 19th century Iowa plough-boys who became soldiers in the Civil War.

Would you please get serious???......

What does Skunky want? Does he want us all to get serious about everything in the world? Come, come, Skunky, you oughtta lighten up! ( maybe he needs a holiday in the woods? )

You mean that he wants his own TV show, TopHat? Perhaps a nice talk show for all the woodland creatures in which Skunky could be an Opera Whatername figure and help to sort out all their social problems.

I can just picture him settling the squables of squirrels and the wranglings of racoons. Perhaps he could even become a personal friend of Whacko Jacko and start up his own mini theme park called Skunky Land from where he could produce live TV shows for all the animals who didn't have social issues!

Now that is weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gives me brain pain trying to visualise the format. I dont think any critter could have more social issues than a skunk.

God Bless America.

Studio 3A at 30 Rockefeller Plaza....

Skunky: "Now, Mrs. Squirrel, I understand that your husband regularly comes home early in the morning reeking of fermented berries and spoiled garbage. I also understand that you have caught him, no less than 5 times, oogling young, very young, female bunnies in an inappropriate manner…."

Re: Nice Things to Talk About

Actually rabbits prefer antelope when going outside their own kind for relations. Don't tell me you've never seen a Jackalope.

Yeah, but the rabbits have one heck of a time collecting bunny support from their baby's daddy....

As a word of caution, this is what happened when Skunky and jim were left unsupervised in Skunky's Mobile Love Shack....

Re: Nice Things to Talk About

Great picture Top Hat!

I wonder if anyone can malign Skunky with a better one?
