However, my french language argot is, from the reactions I get, archaic. I learned to speak french in Paris and Geneva. Therefore, I am told, I sound like a twee, snob when I practice the tongue on our unsuspecting continental bretheren. I am taken for french, but they're puzzled as to where I could possibly come from. My ancient street argot may cause them to believe that I am a time-traveller or have just been released from a long stay in an institution. Stay cool, Dudes. | |||||||||||||
