A good few years ago a semi auto BAR was produced but it was very expensive. Can't remember which magazine published an article on it but it was definitely semi auto.

PS the replica airsoft looks good but I doubt it will get anywhere near the weight of the original.

The link I posted was for an Ohio Ordnance semi-auto replica, the M1918A3 SLR (self-loading rifle). It's at $3000 with a day left on the auction.


My Fjestad's Blue Book from 2004 puts them at about $2400 for 100% condition and $1600 for a 90% condition specimen. Maybe I should invest in more firearms!
