Personally, I would never by a VW. Don't trust'em.

Cappy doesn't like VW's ever since he couldn't get the sewing machine out of the trunk of the one he bought back in the '70s..

addition: Oh, never mind, I get it, you're referring to WW II! Very good, I just didn't pick it up right away.

Re: Flower Arranging for Men

Good news!

The VW guy came last night and explained that the fault lay with the " Stone Guard " ( aparently this stops stones from getting into the drum brakes ). It was set wrongly and was hitting off the wheel!

Even a brand-new car can have its foibles!

The guy did a good repair. It transpired that he went to school with Mrs MoMo's youngest brother and that his big brother went to the same school as Mrs MoMo!

Small world! You gotta trust old schoolmates.

I'm still pissed off about that TV though! The very thought of it makes my blood boil! To think, that I was threatened with the curse of the Security Guard! Me, who could pass for a 1950s Clark Kent!

On reflection, it is never a good idea to lose one's cool. Kathleen ( Mrs MoMo ) has discovered the name and address of the Managing Director of Curry's, so he should be receiving a hot letter some time quite soon. I hope that he has a thick skin and a good lawyer!

Blame it on short attention spans! But, if you look back at some of my posts, it'll show that I was a little concerned for ya!
