Flying Lessons

I am a new member, and this is my first post, and as such, I would like to share an experience. I was privilidged to take my first official flying lesson today. Although I have been around aviation all my life, and it's especially exciting to start flying on my own. I was brought to this site by a current member, and I look forward to spending some time around here.

Chris

Re: Flying Lessons

Welcome to da joint, Chris!

I'm a bit jealous. I wish I had the money and the hutzpah to take flying lessons. I'm afraid the instructor might get upset with me if I treated our little plane like a P-40 and tried to strafe a grain silo.

Re: Flying Lessons

Hey Chester welcome to the house of fun.

Flying lessons eh, prepare to become a very poor man, make sure you put a little (for little I mean a lot) aside for diecast stuff.

Make your next purchase a nice P40. (they are all nice).

God Bless America.

Re: Flying Lessons

Welcome to the forum Chester. Don't mind Jim's advice. You need a real man's aircraft to start you off on the right track; a Spitfire

Re: Flying Lessons

You would take a potential roadkill's advice over mine Jim? I'm heart broken and very upset. Why the Skunkmeister does not even like the superb, all singin', all dancin', Corgi P-51D; the benchmark for all future accurate die cast aircraft

I thought it was the P51 Mustang that was a 'girly' plane ...?
