Trains??????

Hi Timbo,
I understand you also like to run a rail road? I had an aquaintance named Jim Fitzgerald He was into Nscale big time. I've been working on a 32x24 layout for 15 years now. I'm also in the process of configuring my back yard for a LGB layout. Still in the planning stage I do collect other scales but not as extencive as Nscale.

Very nice pics! The wife wants to get into trains and already purchased some HO scale items.

That looks great Alph. you seem to have put in a lot of time on that one.

Unfortunately all mines in boxes at the moment. A distinct lack of time and space to get it going. (Plus those prying 4 year old fingers don't help).

I mainly collect UK outline "OO" (similar to HO), but started getting a bit of US outline N a while back to try and fix the space problem. I got a couple of pieces of Broadway Ltd for my birthday a couple of years back, A GG1 and Pennsy K4) They are really sweet and came sound and DDC equipped.

Ooops!

Re: Trains??????

Nice work Alph,

Dragon Can Do have lots of N Gauge items related to WW2 which can be fun. I'm working on a 1.72 scale continental town ( Holland/Germany circa 1944/5 ) which I can use to pose my collection of soldiers and AFVs. I have old Hornby items which can be insinuated into it to create a railway feature. These are HO scale, but work quite well.

Re: Trains??????

Great set, Alph. Say, how about doing a photo shoot of some WWII warbirds passing overhead scenery? I think it would look tre-cool!

Skunk-man, you crack me up (yet again). Do you ever miss one?

I must say I'm starting to look at this forum partly to see what your next funny repartee will be (though diecast info/discussion is still my main purpose)...

I try not to let too many slip by,FVD, but when I do, one of my deputies is usually around to make the arrest...

The way I look at it is like this..If there's nothing around to poke fun at, we can always resort to rivet counting...

That is great layout, I always wanted to do one, but I don't have the room. All of my game room is aviation stuff.
