What do ya say we keep it simple and start with a simple preliminary poll to include the basic MAJOR aircraft types that are not represented yet. We could fine tune it later for the semi permanent version.

I think that the best thing to do now is to wait for a response from management as to the feasibility of such a poll, how they might participate, whether they like the idea of a steering committee and, if so, how it might be selected. etc.etc. Many of the issues were are now discussing really are in the province of said committee, or some other ruling body.

Any military fighters and bombers from WWI, WWII, Cold War, and Modern eras that have not been done yet to start with. Nice and simple.

How many thousands of airplanes would that entail?

All right never mind. I get it. I now see this is too big of a project to take on. Oh well. I am no expert but I thought we could pick about 20 max from each era. I wasn't thinking clearly.

No, I think you're on the right track. We have done what we can from our end, now we have to wait for management to weigh in with its input. This will get accomplished, its just not going to be done overnight.
And, you gotta admit, Skunky got us good! I'm still laughing about his post...
