I like your idea but I would still appreciate a thumbs up or down from admin before we waste our time trying to do it ourselves. The tools available to management would make this poll much better and easier. Maybe management is actually working on this and hasn't told us yet. Admin, where r r r r r r r r r r you?

Of course, I agree with you on this. Indeed, I was the one saying that we should be patient with management in an earlier post. But how long should we wait? Obviously, the holliday season, which is now upon us, is not a good time to initiate such studies---people have other things on their minds--and developing the computer program to tabulate and police such a study takes time. So the ideal point to start would be in late January or February, when the results, if they mean anything, can have an impact on manufacturers' plans for 2009.
