Let's be grateful for men like Jim. If it weren't for him, we really wouldn't have much to post about.

....or laugh at.

Can we re-name the forum as "jim's Model Hangar and Underpants Emporium"?

If we didn't have Jim we would have to invent him!

He WAS considered a figment of someone's imagination a while back.....!

Ps. Jim, how's that tooth situation coming along?

PAIN PAIN AND MORE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This toothache is no figment of imagination,,,AAAAAAAAAAARRGH. 2nd day of pain. I went to dentists this morning (a nice young lady but prone to stating the obvious) you look in pain she said, whats the problem? Well its not trapped wind I said ,its toothache thats why I have come to a dentists!

It seems to be making sir a little techy doesn't it, Where is the pain?
Well its not in my foot is it, its in my mouth. Well yes I would presume so but whereabouts? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH yes just there you found it.
It would appear you have an nasty abscess there Mr bracewell. Well would you believe it I would never have known that without your very expensive guidance Mrs Jardine (thats her name you see).
Hmm yes Hmmm yes I see Mr Bracewell hmm, AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGH stop poking about and do something! BTW please call me Jim. Alrighty Jim and you can call Mrs Jardine.
Mr Bracewell stop making all this fuss over one little toothy peg.

TOOTHY PEG! TOOTHY PEG! Mrs Sardine I am not a child I am a man in pain do something.
Jardine the names Jardine, well Slim you have 2 options , option number one I pull it out, option 2 ,you suffer while we try a course of antibiotics and strong pain killers.
PAINKILLERS YEAH I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT GIMME THE PAINKILLERS QUICK,NOW.
I shall have to write you a prescription first, WRITE IT ,WRITE NOW QUICK.
There you are Mr Bracewell take this course of tablets and come back next week and we will see how things are progressing. If the little rascal is no better then I fear we must pull it out!

Grasping my little prescrption like a drowning man grasps a straw I broke the Olympic record for the 100meters and burst into the chemist.
YUP just my my luck the chemist was one of those types that seem to have all the time in the world. He disappeared into the back of the store for what seemed like the longest 10 minutes of my life.

When he came back I grabbed the pills and ran next door and said I want to buy a bottle of water so I can take these pills.
Sorry sir I cannot do that, Why I snapped , because this is a bakery sir he replied.
I dashed out and at last spotted a store that sold soft drinks although by then a stiff brandy would have been better.
As I walked back to my car I washed down a couple of those painkillers and an antibiotic tablet.

I have spent the rest of the day in agony wishing I had had the little sucker pulled out and to heck with trying to save it.
YIPPPPEEEEEE its time for another of those painkillers, they only last for 3 hours but I can only take one every four hours, how do you figure that?

Lorraine bless her little cotton socks has been fussing around me all day (but I still wouldn't give her any money).
So there you are captain ,just a short note to let you know how bad things are.Anyway she gave me a hot water bottle to hold against the side of my face and that helps a little.
BYE FOR NOW GOTTA GET THOSE PAINKILLERS.

God Bless America.

Well, all I can say at this point, I guess, is best wishes, Jim. Hope it gets better soon!

Re: I'm trying really hard to think happy thoughts!!!

Have you considered writing full time Jim lad? I can see it now; non-fiction best seller; 'A Day in the Life' (of a Dale Dweller). Dale is a valley to North American residents.

At the Dentist Chapter 1

My time as a Wildlife Ranger (bat hunting) Chapter 2

Are we beginning to see the potential best seller here?
