| USAF vs. VVSSS (Military Air Forces of Soviet Union) Heres an interesting read. ![]() ![]() The thread that this posted to (not our forum) was locked, imagine that, so don't bother seeking it out for a reply. --------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted on soviet-empire.com by interrupt_00h USAF (United States Air Force) versus VVSSS (Voenno Vozdushniye Sily Sovetskogo Soyuza - Military Air Forces of Soviet Union). First stage of WW3 begins with war in Korea. Stalin was clever, extremely clever, much more clever than stupid capitalist leaders. While capitalists focused on super heavy bombers and aircraft carriers, Comrade Stalin chose to focus on jet fighters and long-range missiles (which were uninterceptable - Great Stalin, Soviet missiles remain uninterceptable even now). Americans were very proud of their super heavy bombers and jet fighters "Sabre" and "Shooting star". But when Stalin's MiGs (jet fighters MiG-15 and MiG-17) burned them like matchboxes in skies of Korea, American attitude changed. They understand one simple thing: their plan of destroying Russia won't work, because Soviet jet fighters will destroy most of super heavy bombers they send (Americans used B-29). The day of this great Soviet victory over "advanced" capitalist air force - 12th of April, 1951. Americans launched 48 B-29s, protected by 80 jet fighters from bases in Korea to destroy hydroelectric power plant on Yalutzan river and Andun bridge in China. In august of 1945 citizens of Nagasaki knew what will happen, but they couldn't do anything against B-29. But this time Americans messed with Soviets. If Americans would succeed in this operation (mission objectives: destroy Yalutzan power plant and Andun bridge), they would win war for Korea. Soviets launched MiG-15s (armed with 3 cannons, no missiles) to intercept coward capitalist attack. Result: Yalutzan power plant and Andun bridge saved, no MiGs were damaged, lots of American aircrafts destroyed. In this war, Americans destroyed 335 Soviet aircrafts, WHILE SOVIETS DESTROYED MORE THAN 1300 AMERICAN AIRCRAFTS! ALMOST FOUR TIMES MORE! FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET UNION!!! Second stage of WW3 begins with war in Vietnam. Sky battles began in august, 1964. American capitalists thrown 330 aircrafts (F-105s, "Thunderchiefs", "Super sabers", "Voodoos", "Skyhawks", "Crusaders") against Vietnam people. At first Soviets used outdated MiG-17, which is slower than sonic. But it was MiG-17 which opened death count in this war, destroying 2 (two) F-105 (4 of April, 1965). Later, Americans lost 7 (SEVEN!!!) aircrafts, destroying ONLY 4 (FOUR!!!) MiG-17s. Now all saw what "advanced" American Air Force really worth! MiG-17s were a SCOURGE of American army, but real NIGHTMARE began when MiG-21s appeared on the battlefield. From May to December of 1966, MiG-21s destroyed 47 (FORTY SEVEN!!!) American "advanced" aircrafts, losing ONLY 12 (TWELVE!!!) MiGs. That was a disaster for pathetic capitalist army. In 1967, Soviet pilots destroyed TWO TIMES more aircrafts, then American pilots. Another great victory of glorious Red Army! Americans thrown their new F-4s ("Phantoms") in combat. The strong side of F-4 is its speed, not maneuverability (maneuverability of F-4 was extremely bad), because originally F-4 was created to intercept super-fast Soviet bombers. Americans removed cannons from F-4, turning aircraft into bulky missile carrier and breaking connection between maneuver and attack, in other words, turning pilot of F-4 into part of computer, into mindless machine (quite in Western style). Also, Americans continued to develop their favorite tactic ("air terror"), building super heavy fighters, made to approach, attack and then run away. They called it "tactical fighter concept". In other words, Americans made clumsy "Phantom" even more clumsy. Neither Nazis or Soviets build such coward, such backstabbing (and ineffective) aircrafts. Americans laughed at Soviet aircrafts: "Ha-ha! Stalin's concept! Flying engine! Ha-ha!". Stupid capitalists: maneuverable and fast MiG-21s blasted smile from faces of American pilots. MiG-21s easily destroyed American air squadrons (often turning radars off to prevent detection). Even though Americans had SIX TIME MORE AIRCRAFTS, they were LOSING war for skies. Americans tried to re-organize assaults, to block Vietnamese aerodromes, to use radio jammers. WITH NO RESULT! Then they gave their "Phantoms" cannons, tried to teach American "aces" (who already degraded into mindless machines for pushing right buttons) an art of close combat (ever seen laughable capitalist propaganda movie "Top Gun"?). WITH NO RESULT! In this war capitalists lost 3495 aircrafts (THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETY FIVE!!!), destroying ONLY 76 (SEVENTY SIX!!!) communist aircrafts! Yet another FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET UNION!!! But Vietnam war was just the beginning. Soviets proved their overwhelming air superiority during Indo-Pakistan war (1971 year), in Close East (1973 year). Great Stalin, even during Israel aggression in Lyban (Syria, 1982 year) already outdated MiGs matched newest capitalist aircrafts! In 1973 year MiG-21 fought not with clumsy American machines, but with maneuverable French "Mirage-3S", which Israel were using. But even "Mirages" didn't survived maneuverable combat with Soviet aircrafts - their aerodynamics was inferior to advanced communist technology. In 1982, during battle for Lyban, Syrian forces destroyed 6 (six) F-16, 5 (five) of which were destroyed by already outdated MiG-23MFs. During that war Israel F-16As (newest, state-of-the-art capitalist technology!) and other machines destroyed ONLY 7 (SEVEN!!!) outdated Su-22M storm bombers and several absolutely outdated Mi-8 helicopters (as far as I know, these Su-22Ms and Mi-8s didn't even had ANY anti-aircraft weaponry). Most effective Israel fighter was F-15 "Eagle" (I'll tell about this primitive capitalist toy later). During war with Iraq (January of 1991), which was armed only with completely outdated Soviet junk, F-16 didn't destroyed ANY Arabian aircrafts, F-15S destroyed 34 completely outdated aircrafts, F/A-18 destroyed only 2 (TWO) MiG-21s, losing 1 (ONE) aircraft (was done by MiG-25P). F-14 "Tomcat" killed only 1 (ONE) outdated helicopter. That's all. NOTHING MORE. Arabians were outnumbered 1 (ONE!!!) against 7-14 (SEVEN-FOURTEEN!!!), they didn't have ANY coordination centers or long-range detection aircrafts (AWACS; Soviet counterpart - An-50 "Mainstay"), they didn't have training of Soviet aces (You say Americans are better pilots then sky/space-obsessed Soviets? Now tell me, how much Americans can fly with hands amputated? Correct me if I am wrong, but answer is 0 (ZERO)!)! In other words, Americans "fought" with outdated MiG-21 (date of first flight of MiG-21 - 1958!), which still were powerful enemies! Now let's analyze. American counterparts of MiG-21 like F-4 "Phantom" and F-104 "Starfighter" are completely outdated. American pilots call this laughable capitalist aircrafts "flying coffins". Guess why? Hint: approximately 200 aircrafts of these models crashed - NOT IN COMBAT. But you get the idea. American aircrafts of 1990ies fought with WEAKENED (export models of Soviet aircrafts are weakened - the matter of security, you know) Soviet aircrafts 1950ies, and WEAKENED Soviet aircrafts acted MORE EFFICIENTLY (without trained pilots, without coordination and surveillance, without proper repair and maintenance, ONE "sickle-hammered" against SEVEN "star-striped") than American state-of-the-art machinery! And Americans dare say that operation in Iraq ended in ABSOLUTE VICTORY??? In other words, America won "Desert Storm" ONLY BY OUTNUMBERING Arabians. Nothing else. Forget stories about "advanced western technology". Anyway, 43 years have passed, but MiG-21 (I repeat, it was first used in 1958) remains to be a deadly aircraft. Mikoyan group of researchers developed "modification 93". Now it can detect capitalist aircrafts not in 20kms range, but in 57kms range (DETECTION AREA INCREASED THREE TIMES MORE!!!), computer can track not only 1 (one) target (original version), but 8 (eight) targets simulatiously. MiG-21/93 can carry 1 (ONE) ton of bombs (1000kgs), air-to-air missiles of medium and short range, anti-radar Kh-31s and Kh-25MP, guided super bombs KAB-500KR and EXTREMELY DEADLY anti-ship missiles Kh-31A (Soviets always made good anti-ship missiles, just look at "Moskit" aka "SunBurn" - it is the best anti-ship missile ever created). I will return to Iraq campaign later, but now I want to focus on MiG series. After break-up of Soviet Union NATO pilots could see REAL Soviet aircrafts, not some capitalist junk they show in stupid and unrealistic anti-Soviet movies like "Top Gun". When Western pilots came to Czech with their newest, state-of-the-art crafts "Mirage-2000" and F-16A, they decided to make few test fights, where Czechs used WEAKENED variant (export model) of Soviet MiG-29. Want to know the results? The results are simple: ALL FIGHTS ENDED WITH COMPLETE VICTORY OF MiG-29s!!! MiG-29s blasted "advanced" Western fighters FROM FIRST SHOT!!! That can mean ONLY ONE THING: Western aircraft technology is SO INFERIOR to Soviet aircraft technology, that Western pilots, even fighting against weakened version of Soviet planes, HAVE NO (ZERO, ZIN, ZIP, NOL) CHANCES OF WINNING!!! All myths about "low-level Soviet electronics" were destroyed: even though Russian RLS-N019 was heavier than American AN/APG-66 (250kgs versus 160kgs), it detects enemy aircraft from 75kms - against 40kms on American planes! THAT ACTUALLY MEANS THAT SOVIET COMBAT COMPUTERS WERE TWO TIMES BETTER, THEN AMERICAN ONES!!! Even radar of heavy F/A-18 (224kgs) has detection distance 65kms - AGAIN LOWER THAN SOVIET COUNTERPARTS!!! And newest Russian radar systems on Su-27 has detection range 110kms! But not only combat computers, Western weapon systems were also inferior! For example NO modification of F-16 has long range (more then 60kms) air-to-air missiles. MiG-29 has such missiles - it is R-27E (they can strike even if enemy is 27000 meters high). Only starting from 1990 (when arch-traitor Gorbachev was already dissecting Soviet Union) F-16 could carry medium range guided missiles - BUT MiG-29 ALWAYS HAD THEM!!! Typical weapon of F-16 - primitive capitalist toy "Sidewinder" with heat-seeking abilities. And Soviets always had LOTS of methods to repulse attack of heat-seekers! Soviet MiGs were equipped with R-60 and R-73 radar-guided missiles, which are very hard to evade. About R-73. That is REALLY DEADLY missile - its locking angle is 60-90 (SIXTY-NINETY!!!) degrees (locking angle of primitive capitalist "Sidewinder" is only 10 (TEN!!!) degrees!). What it means? That means one thing: if commie sees you, you are DEAD. You can maneuvers, you can evade, you can do anything you like - it won't help you, no matter how good you are. If he sees you, you are DEAD. Say your capitalist prayers. Americans invested billions of dollars in creation of F-14 "Tomcat" and F-15 "Eagle". They won't help you against R-73. If commie sees you, you are DEAD. Cease your futile resistance, capitalist. F-14 and F-15 are only good beating weak nations, but are nothing against advanced missiles of Red Army! Of course, American engineers were fools, but they were not SUCH fools. After break-up of Soviet Union they bought all advanced technologies and are now working on new missile AIM-9X. Theoretically, ONLY THEORETICALLY, they can match Soviet R-73s. But most American experts don't think so. Anyway, what's about "Sidewinder"? It is just a primitive piece of capitalist junk. After break-up of Soviet Union, American company "McDonnell-Douglas" simulated air fights of pride of USAF, F-15 "Eagle" (main weapon: "Sidewinder" aka capitalist junk), against MiG-29 (main weapon: R-73 aka communist super missile), and admitted absolute superiority of Soviet aircraft technologies! They 30 (THIRTY!!!) times more often locked on targets! That actually means one thing: SUPERIORITY OF SOVIET AIR FORCE IS OVERWHELMING, DEMORALIZING, AWE-INSPIRING!!! If you think that Americans planes are good, think again. F-15 was really a jewel of American air force. But is it advanced enough to fight with MiGs? Thousand times: NO!!! So, Pentagon was forced to buy Soviet missile technologies (not only R-73, but also R-27 (aimed by passive radiolocationary system)). Americans copied Soviet missiles and are now working on missiles "Boxfice" and "Boa". Stupid capitalists. They forgot that glorious Soviet Empire already possessed RVV-AE: super maneuverable, uninterceptable, undistractable (that means: forget about anti-missile systems, American pilot, and say your capitalist prayers!), with 70-80kms range, which can blast to bits even F-117, B-2 and other so-called "stealth" aircrafts. RVV-AE is truly a "fire-and-forget" missile! But that is not all! Soviets also created R-33 with semi-active radar targeting system, which has more than 110kms range. That is practically the range of "Phoenix", America's MOST LONG RANGE MISSILE!!! Think of it: Americans can set "Phoenix" only on F-14 "Tomcat" (aka laughable capitalist garbage). And Soviets had modified R-27ER and R-27ET, which were designed for both ground-based and sea-based variants of unmatched Soviet super fighter Su-27! AND THAT IS NOT ALL!!! Soviet Union had technology of advanced super missile, which has range above 425kms! FOUR TIMES LONGER THAN BEST WESTERN ANALOGS!!! That means that American AWACS planes also cost nothing - Soviet fighters can destroy "Sentries" not entering attack range of American fighters like F-16s and F-18s. And without AWACS what American aircrafts are? Yes, you are right, my capitalist friend, THEY ARE JUST TARGET PRACTICE FOR SOVIET AIRCRAFTS!!! And that is not all! Soviets had Kh-25 missiles (they are aimed by electromagnetic emission of enemy radars) - missiles with COLLECTIVE intelligence (aircraft's computer can also be part of this intelligence). Together, swarm of missiles form distributed network, which calculates best trajectory and speed. Yes, if you have some sort of sci-fi technology (and we know that America don't have it), you can destroy one missile. You can destroy two. You can even destroy three. But that won't help - remaining missiles, controlled by COLLECTIVE intelligence (computer technology truly in communist style!), will destroy you. As I already said, my capitalist friend, resistance is futile: stop talking about superiority of American planes and say your prayers. And that is not all! Soviet Union had modifications of Kh-25: Kh-25M with 3 (THREE!!!) targeting systems in one pack (televisor, infrared and "fire-and-forget") and Kh-25MP with radio command targeting. Soviets also had also Kh-31 anti-radar missile which can turn American anti-air systems like "Patriot" and "Hawk" into pools of molten metal. Summarizing, we came to the conclusion, that American air force is like stone-age tribe against group of snipers. Resistance is futile, capitalist. Pray. But let's get back to F-15 "Eagle". So-called "miracle of American technology", created with consideration of Vietnam experience. Its Soviet counterpart is Su-27 (Americans call it "Flanker"). Su-27 is first statically unstable and electrodistantionally controlled aircraft in human history. With state-of-the-art Impulse-Doppler station, enhanced with optoelectronic sensors. Pilot can move weaponry by moving head in special helmet. Su-27 carries 30mm cannon (which can blast to bit everything that flies) and ten missiles of long, medium and short range. Su-27 is truly unique, and fantastically maneuverable. It was on this plane Soviet ace Pugachyov made "cobra" - maneuver., during which aircraft moves in such critical attack vector, that loses speed and "stops" in the air. Such maneur can distract any American missile or aircraft. When Western intruder on four-engine recon craft "Orion" came too close to Soviet territorial waters (13th of September, 1987), Soviet Su-27 (piloted by Vasiliy Tzibmal) began chasing it, and no stupid capitalist tricks helped him! But when "Orion" accidentially hit Su-27 with rotor, Su-27 survived collision UNDAMAGED! And damaged "Orion" returned to base. What does Su-27 worth against F-15? After break-up of Soviet Union, in August of 1992, in airbase at Langley (Virginia state) major E. Karabasov offered training fight between serial Russian fighter Su-27UB and pride of American aviators F-15. Americans refused (capitalist cowards), but offered to maneur above ocean instead. In first phase Su-27UB should chase F-15, in second phase F-15 should chase Su-27UB. Anybody want to guess the results? Yes, that is correct: F-15 used ALL resources of engine, but still Su-27UB was chasing him (without using at least HALF of engine resources). When F-15 tried to chase Su-27UB, it failed. In other words, F-15 (pride of American aviation, one of best Western air-superiority jetfighters!) is NOTHING against Su-27UB! Also, Su-27UB, even without additional fuel tanks, can fly 550kms farther, then F-15! And it can be maintained on low-tech aerodromes, and doesn't require special maintance (in distinction with F-15, which requires costly high-tech maintance)! There was a lot of test fights between different modifications of Su-27 and American aircrafts (including F-14 "Tomcat" and F-18 "Hornet"), but ALL OF THEM ended with absolute success of glorious Russian aviation. As always, USAF failed - again! And remember - first Su-27s took off in 1970ies, during horrible period of Brezhnivist Stagnation! FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET TECHNOLOGY!!! Now tell me, my capitalist friend, do you still believe stories about "American air superiority"? But Su-27UB is not the peak of Soviet technology. Soviets also had twin-seat Su-30 interceptors (used to intercept cruise missiles and cruise missile carriers; can fly 3700-3800kms and can refuel in air using Soviet flying tankers Il-7 and multi-role fighters Su-30MK (which has universal radar, multi-functional monitors, optoelectronic targeting and navigation complex, computers of new generation, inertial orientation system with laser gyroscopes combined with satellite navigation; along with conventional air-to-air missiles this aircraft is armed with ultra-precise air-to-ground missiles with 250kms fire range). And what about Su-27? Its new modification has phenomenal opticolocationary station 36Sh, which works both in infrared and laser diapasons, AND IT HAS NO WESTERN COUNTERPARTS EVEN NOW!!! This station turns pilot into CYBORG which can blast enemies with newest modification of R-27, which guidance system is merged with Su-27's inner computer network. In other words, SOVIET PILOTS DIRECT THEIR MISSILES USING THEIR OWN EYES!!! American computer engineers cannot even dream about it! Complete merging of Man and Machine! Soviet cyborg! Along with missiles, new modification of Su-27 has Soviet GSh-30L super cannon (1500 shots per minute). This cannon has three targeting systems: laser, infrared and radar. Inner computer network automatically calculates trajectory and speed of target. What does that mean for pilot? It means that EVERY target can be hit with 3-6 (THREE-SIX!!!) shots! And Su-27 has enough ammunition for 150 (ONE HUNDRED FIFTY!!!) shots! That means it can destroy 25-50 American planes with cannon ALONE!!! Resistance is futile, my capitalist friend! Submit to the glorious Soviet Empire! Using concept of Su-27 Soviet Union created flying robotic battle cruiser, the most powerfull assault bomber ever created - Su-34! First Su-34 took off in 1990. This sky lord was created for supersonic bombing. At daylight and at night, in rain, blizzard and storm - Su-34 can fight in any environment! It is armed with powerful 30mm cannon GSh-301, ultra-precise air-to-surface missiles and LOTS of bombs, with combat range 250kms. In aviashow MAKS-95 Su-34 was shown in alternative variant: with tactical Kh-59M missiles and multi-purpose new generation missile "Alfa". It was also equipped with missiles of close and medium range: R-73 (I repeat: that actually means that if commie sees you, you are DEAD) and K-77. It destroys enemy defences, blinding enemy with Kh-31P missiles, which destroy enemy radars. This missiles also destroy AWACS planes, blinding enemy air force. And it carries ultra-precise KAB-1500 bombs with laser televisorory guidance system, which are powerful enough turn beautiful American land into lunar landscape. It moves on breathtaking speeds (approximately 1400kph) close to ground, using hills and cliffs as natural defense, almost undetectable for capitalist radars. Radar system of Su-34 not only monitors air fluctuations (Su-34 can function even in heavy storms because of PGO system - array of small wings at the aircraft's nose, controlled by computer, which monitors air fluctuations), but also searches and points ground targets. And sensor array on the tail of this aircraft monitors what happens behind, below and above it, so if capitalists will use their standard tactic and try to strike Su-34 in the back, they will fail, because radar system will report situation to pilots (Su-34 is twin-seat aircraft), simulatiously aiming air-to-air missiles at evil capitalists, who dared to use such cowardly tactic. Now Su-34 sees them, and they are, of course, DEAD. Pilots of this miracle of Soviet technology aim weapons using special computer system. They also can control missiles using their own eyes - just like in Su-27. Computer of Su-34 provides complete detailed report about situation and points out air, ground, water and even UNDERWATER targets (this technological miracle can spot ANY submarine by water fluctuations). It analyzes enemy defenses and offers plans and targets in intuitively-understandable form, allowing commander to organize strike of entire Su-34 battle group (and Su-34 battle group has more firepower then entire USAF air wing!). Computer security system offers quick solution of problems, damages and malfunctions. If human crew is not in condition to make decisions or simply has made a mistake, board computer will do it HIMSELF! Computer of Su-34 always has all information pilot may or may not need. If human pilot is too slow (or too stupid), computer can lead an assault of Su-34 (or even of battlegroup of Su-34) without help of humans. Control systems are doubled - if pilot is killed, navigator can pilot the plane. If both crewmen are dead, computer can pilot the plane. Of course Americans will shoot with cannons and "Stingers" (just to remind you: Western "Stinger" is completely inferior to its Soviet counterpart "Igla-2" - another victory of Soviet Civilization), but this robotic cruiser is protected by titanium carapace (which weights 1500kgs). Pilot cockpit is protected by 17mm armor. Titanium armor also protects engines and fuel tanks. Su-34 has specially-engineered hull, which disperses radio waves of enemy radar systems, and also covered with special radio absorbing material, making it very hard to detect. Also, Su-34 can fly 4000kms without refueling! That is TWO TIMES FARTHER then American F-15E can fly! And Su-34 can also be equipped with additional fuel tanks, which will increase its range up to 6000kms - THREE TIMES FARTHER then American F-15E! And Su-34 can refuel in air to increase its range up to 14000-15000kms! That is close to range of AMERICAN STRATEGIC AVIATION!!! And Su-34 is also very comfortable for pilots: along with cockpit Su-34 has living room, kitchen and even toilet! And Su-34 In other words, Su-34 is super efficient, computerized, heavily armored, heavy armed, multi-purpose, environmentally tolerant, comfortable, human-friendly, long range flying robotic battle cruiser of Soviet Empire, which is hard to detect, very hard to hit, extremely hard to hurt and almost impossible to destroy. Western Civilization failed to create anything even close to this robocruiser. FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET TECHNOLOGY!!! But even that monster is not the peak of Soviet engineering genius! In August of 1996 (during aviaparade in Tushino) citizens of Moscow have seen fantastic plane. It looked like air friction and inertia simply doesn't exist for this aircraft. It looked like magic. But it wasn't magic, it was Soviet aircraft technology. It was Soviet air fighter of fifth generation - Su-37. Unstable integral triplane. Soviet super weapon, created by team of Maksim Simonov. Unique AL-31 engines of this super weapon were created in KB (constructor bureau) "Lulka-Saturn" (using titanium melting and fusing in argon chambers). Su-37 has controllable thrust vector (yes, my capitalist friend, it has controllable thrust vector!) and unstable construct which gave Sukhoi aircrafts their supernatural maneuverability. And it was fully functional combat fighter. And first Su-37 took of in May of 1985! Americans also worked on aircrafts with controllable thrust vector. In 1995, Americans managed to complete their controllable vector aircraft "Roqwell-DASA" and demonstrated it during LeBurge exposition. WHICH DIDN'T HAVE ANY WEAPONS EVEN IN PROJECT!!! That means that even though Americans completed controllable vector aircraft ten years later, than Soviets did, this aircrafts still poses NO (ZERO, ZIN, ZIP, NOL) military threat! And Su-37 is equipped with super missiles RVV-AE (I already explained their superiority over Western counterparts). To attack sea and ground targets Su-37 is equipped with tactical guided missile Kh-29 (attack range - 150kms). To destroy enemy radars Su-37 is equipped with Kh-31A cruise missile. Also, Su-37 carries bombs with laser targeting and tanks with napalm. Su-37 revolutionizes all air warfare. By "stopping" in air it becomes invisible for Western radars and missiles (even "smart" missiles). It becomes invicible! And Su-37 can not only "stop" in ANY position - it can ATTACK from EVERY position! All its systems will work perfectly! It is truly a piece of art, and it outmatches ANYTHING Western Civilization can throw against it! Absolute Russian air superiority in next 20-50 years! But is Su-37 a peak of Soviet technology? What about Soviet MiGs? Well, let's get back to history of WW3. It began in October of 1973. Israel anti-air defense managed to intercept cruise missiles Egypt launched from Tu-16 bombers. Soviet forces (which, of course, supported noble Egyptians, not Israel warmongers) were equipped with MiG-25RB (can move with 2-3 sonic speeds; and can move higher than 20kms (above 20000 meters)). MiG-25RBs were aimed by radio navigatory and inertial systems, dropping free-falling bombs from stratosphere. In other words, MiG-25RB played role of catapult which can throw bombs (speed of bomb - 1 (one) kilometer per second). MiG-25RBs were equipped with extremely deadly FAB-500 bombs (1500 kilograms!). Imagine what this bomb can do when thrown with speed 1 (one) kilometer per second! Fake nuclear detonation device, thrown from MiG-25RB from 22-23km (22000-23000 meters) height, flied 40kms forward before hitting ground. Can you imagine this, my capitalist friend? THAT MEANS THAT IN THIS WAR, GROUP OF MiG-25RBs COULD RAZE ISRAEL CAPITOL (or capitol of any other country - including America) TO GROUND!!! And Israel army, armed to teeth with LOTS of state-of-the-art Western weaponry, could do nothing against this! Israel capitol was protected by HUNDREDS of anti-air defense systems "Hawk", but all these systems cannot fire on heights above 11200 meters (I repeat: MiG-25RB moved on height 22000-23000 meters!) and on range longer then 31kms (I repeat: test bomb flied 40kms forward!)! Capitalist anti-air defence proved to be inferior - again! The backbone of Israel air force of that period, "Mirages" and "Phantoms" (best Western aircrafts of that period!), simply hadn't enough speed and maneuverability to compete with Soviet MiG-25RBs! Great Stalin, they weren't even able to fly on heights MiG-25RB flies! And although Soviets didn't used opportunity to bomb Israel capitol, MiGs still done a lot of recon flights. Israel F-4E "Phantom" carried light variant of two medium range guided missiles AIM-7 "Sparrow" and two close range missiles AIM-9 "Sidewinder" (aka capitalist junk). "Sidewinder" again proved to be piece of capitalist junk, because it flied with speed of 2.24 mach (even MiG-25RB flied faster - above 2.4 mach!) and cannot move heigher than 18450 meters (I repeat: MiG-25RB moved on height 22000-23000 meters!). So, if MiG-25RB is piloted by experienced pilot, it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to shoot down MiG-25RB with "Sidewinder"! Superiority of MiGs over "Phantoms" was overwhelming! American aircrafts beaten Soviet ones?! ONLY IN LAUGHABLE PROPAGANDA MOVIES (like "Top Gun") AND BOOKS (everything from Tom Clancy)!!! But let's continue our story. I already explained complete superiority of MiG-29. First MiG-29 took off in 1970ies (6th of October, 1977), but it is not only beats any Western aircrafts, but also beats any PROJECTS of Western aircrafts! Created in 1970ies, it is ahead of his time for AT LEAST 50 (FIFTY!!!) years, because process of creation of modern military aircrafts tooks 15-30 years. If Americans think that they can fix the problem with Soviet MiGs by creating new model of aircraft, they should think again. MiG-29 beats any fightercraft Western Civilization can THEORETICALLY IMAGINE! But let's get down to facts. In 1980ies, MiG-29 was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment: powerful automatic cannon, medium and close range missiles, complex targeting system (radar, laser opticolocatory station and computerized visor in pilot's helmet) - everything COMPLETELY outmatched Western counterparts: American F-14 "Tomcat" and F-15 "Eagle", French "Mirages". But the strongest side of MiG-29 was relation of engine thrust to takeoff weight. The higher the relation, the easier for pilot to maneuver. In this relation, MiG-29 was even beter then SUPERNATURALLY maneuverable Soviet Su-27! Let's get down to numbers. Please, pay attention. MiG-29 - 1.1; MiG-21 - 0.8; F-104 "Superstarfighter" - 0.55; F-14 "Tomcat" - 0.59. That actually means that MiG-29 has BEST relation of engine thrust to takeoff weight (this is one key parameters in air combat!). Also, it means that even MiG-21, created in 1950ies, is more maneurable, then "state-of-the-art" F-14 "Tomcat". MiG-29 was equipped by new generation medium range missile, with active targeting system. Radar of MiG-29 was also very hard to jam. This Soviet plane can shoot several targets simulatiously. In middle 1980ies, MiG-29S (modification of MiG-29) carried 4 (four) tons of bombs and had minor improvements in construction, again outmatching its pathetic American counterparts (F-15S, F-16S, F-18S and "Mirage-2000-5"). I repeat, that was done in 1980ies, when Soviet Union was already betrayed by arch-traitors like Gorbachev. West feared MiGs a lot. During "Farnboro-88" exposition, two MiG-29s made a sensation. Americans understood, that MiG-29 has huge reserves for improvement. That is very important characteristic. As you understand, reconstruction of old fightercraft (especially of flexible planes like MiG-29) is always easier then creation new one. Soviet engineers always looked forward - they always prefered to create new, revolutionary technology instead of refitting old machines, but break-up of Soviet Union forced them to revise their tactics. And MiG-29 had tremendous reserves for improvement. While Americans began telling stupid AND FALSE stories (truly in capitalist style!) about ATF, Soviet engineers ALREADY designed new modification of MiG-29: MiG-29M, TRUE fightercraft of the XXI century, which outmatches ALL, EVEN UNEXISTANT, American fightercrafts and even fightercraft PROJECTS, which can also cripple enemy anti-air defences, raze air-force bases, sink ships! MiG-29M has multichannel impulse-doppler sensors, which can lock on 10 (ten) targets simulatiously. Military armament is 4500kgs, including newest Russian air-to-surface missiles with laser and thermotelevisionary targeting of extreme accuracy. Plus 6 (six) guided bombs. MiG-29M was THREE TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE then even original MiG-29 and MiG-29S at attacking ground and sea targets. It detects any flying object in 90-100kms range, and any ships, boats or submarines in 150kms range. Like Su-27, MiG-29M has electrodistantionary system and is an example of supernatural maneurability. Even now, after break-up of Soviet Union, MiG-29M can be equipped with long and extra long range Russian air-to-air missiles and newest surveillance system. Even now (I repeat: first MiG-29 took off in 1977 year, first MiG-29M took off in 1986 year) it outmatches best Western counterparts and even PROJECTS of counterparts (for example, it completely outmatches so-called "eurofighter of XXI century"). I remind you, in 1980ies Soviet Empire forged it's aircraft-carrier fleet. At 1st of November (that happened in 1989 year) Soviet ace Victor Pugachyov took off from Soviet aircraft-carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov". Before break-up of Soviet Union, Soviet aces made 90 (ninety) test flights, both during day and night. Soviet scientist created unique automatic electrono-optical landing sytem, called "Luna". AMERICAN "ADVANCED" AIRCRAFT-CARRIES CANNOT EVEN DREAM OF SUCH TECHNOLOGY!!! If you ever tried to land on aircraft-carrier, you know how hard and dangerous it is. That's why only best of the best American aces serve on aircraft-carriers. And Soviets has created automatic landing system, that means that even robotic aircraft can land on Soviet aircraft-carrier during heavy storm! That gave Soviets endless opportunities! Imagine Soviet aircraft-carrier, protected by swarms of flying robots! In other words, Soviets scientists and engineers were centuries ahead of the time - again, as they always were. FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET TECHNOLOGY!!! But even though MiG-29M is absolutely superior to American counterparts, Soviets had a lot of other MiGs - for example MiG-31 and MiG-MFI. Let's look at MiG-31. In comparison with MiG-29 and Su-27, MiG-31 looks bulky and heavy. But still it is THE best heavy fighter on planet. And it will most likely remain best heavy fighter for the next 25-50 years. Work on MiG-31 began in early 1970ies. In 1972, Gleb Yevgeniyevich Lozino-Lozinsky (the creator of "Buran" superspacecraft) put all best advancements of Soviet technology into this wonderfull air machine. For example, "Zaslon" - phase-array sensor (that means that not radar mirror is moving, but RADIO BEAM ITSELF is moving). That phenomenal sensor flawlessly outmatches American counterparts even now! Air-to-air missiles on MiG-31 are attached not to the wings (such concept decreases speed and maneurability), but stored in special chambers on hull of fightercraft. MiG-31 were created to act in groups of 4 (four) fighters. Computers of such group, even when MiGs are moving in disjuncted formation, forms collective intelligence (truly in communist style!), which turns FOUR MiG-31s into ONE military machine. Concepts like this were very widely used in Red Army. Such tactic is called "combat totalitarity", and it turns all Soviet fighters, bombers, missiles, helicopters, anti-missile defences, tanks and even individual soldiers into huge combat organism, aimed at destruction of enemy. Actually, that was very common tactic of Russia, even before Great October Revolution. Because of EXTREMELY hostile enviroment of Russia (Russia is truly the most hostile region on planet), Russians couldn't afford maintaining huge commanding staff, so they often used collective thinking. If Russian general is killed, Russian soldiers could do without him. But when this concept was backed by scientific and technological might of Soviet Union, results are astonishing. A group of 4 (four) MiG-31s, moving in disjuncted position (approximately 800kms) scans forward with 300kms range. Collective intelligence transmits data to light Soviet fighters like Su-27 and MiG-29, which move with their radars off, choosing best attack vector for destroying targets. They can easily refuel in air, and that means that they constantly patrol area with enormous efficiency "combat totalitarity" principle provides. America simply don't have ANYTHING against them! But MiG-31 is not the peak of Soviet engineering genius. The real breakthrough was multi-purpose tactical fighter MiG-MFI. It incorporated best Soviet engineering decisions. Its hull has unusual design, which gives this miracle of supertechnology phenomenal aerodynamics. Missiles are carried in special chambers and do not lower speed. But the best thing in MiG-MFI is its "Marabu" plasma stealth field generator. Let me explain. When Americans finally realised that direct attack of superheavy bombers is useless, they changes their tactic a little: first, Americans should disable enemy defences, and only then launch superheavy bombers. Stealth technologies became a backbone of American offensive. Backbone is very important bone. Remove it - and entire construct crashes. And Soviets efficiently removed it! Soviets know lots of cheap methods of detecting crafts like F-117 and B-2. They even created "Aerobot" - flying pilotless radar, which sees any American stealth aircrafts which enter his scanning range (scanning range - 500 kilometers). Americans stole their stealth aircraft concept (triangular construction) from Soviet scientist Ufimtsev in 1960ies, hoping that this technology can help them. Capitalist idiots. F-117s and B-2s were costly, required special maintance and special airstrips. That's because ugly F-117 and B-2 had aerodynamic of flying office desk. Many American pilots were simply afraid to fly on such badly-engineered aircrafts. To fly, American stealth aircrafts required powerfull computers, but that didn't helped them - F-117 and B-2 cannot fly in bad weather conditions. And remember - Soviet radars perfectly see F-117s and B-2s. Triangular construction should be used to create invisible zeppelins or toroidflyers, not aircrafts. For aircrafts Soviets used much more sophisticated technology. MiG-MFI is Soviet stealth fighter. But it has elegant construction of fighter, not ugly form of American stealth aircrafts. Why it is invisible? Because of "Marabu" plasma stealth field generator. Plasma field efficiently disperses enemy radar waves, making aircraft completely invisible - but MiG-MFI radars continue to function perfectly! Theoretically, you can hit MiG-MFI with heat-seeker missile, the problem is that Western heat-seeker missiles are too primitive and don't have enough speed and maneurability to hit MiG-MFI. And after all, Soviets had lots of methods to distract heat-seeker missiles. This MiG is extremely maneurable. Besides, plasma field also reduces air friction. And MiG-MFI is computerised and armed to the teeth. To make aircraft faster and more maneurable, Soviet engineers fitted weapon pods inside the hull, not below the wings. In result, MiG-MFI is an extraordinary multi-purpose tactical fighter, which can beat any American aircraft even without using "Marabu" plasma stealth field generator. There is also one interesting fact: "Marabu" is universal generator. It can be fitted even on outdated models, turning outdated MiG-23 and MiG-25 into ultimate instruments of destruction. "Marabu" can also be fitted on cruise missiles, making them invisible, uninterceptable, undestructable weapons of first strike! Soviets also developed missiles (they can be fitted even on outdated aircrafts) that can create entire plasma clouds in atmosphere, jamming Western targeting systems and even controlling weather and climate in chosen area! In other words, Soviet scientists yet again proved their absolute superiority over dumb American engineers. FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET TECHNOLOGY!!! But that is not all. Soviets were working on "AYaKS" - Soviet aerospaceship (this project was not completely finished because of break-up of Soviet Union)! I will explain: it is very hard to fly in mesosphere - air is too rarified for aircrafts and too solid for sattelites. Besides, air in mesosphere is highly ionised because of space particle beams. But if you can fly in mesosphere, you are nearly invicible. American engineers are working on creation of hypersonic aircraft, which will have two engine system - standart reactive jet engine and rocket engine. Uncreative, dumb, pathetic fools. Russians created much more revolutionary method - they created UNIVERSAL engine! When "AYaKS" reaches hypersonic speed, it uses heating energy. This Soviet supercraft has double shielding. Between two shieldings, in special system, water and ordinary cheap cerosine circulate. Energy of surfacial heating (this energy is PROBLEM for American engineers) is used to break up water into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is mixed with avia-cerosine to create fuel of enormous potential energy. This fuel is injected into combustion chamber, remaining oxygen is used to fuel combustion processes. In this form, "AYaKS" can fly on 60 kilometers height, and even above (compare this to characteristics of American combat planes)! BUT, on these heighs, rarified air is highly ionised because of space particle rays. That's why "AYaKS" has vozdukhozabornik (air-taking chamber?). It takes ionised air and redistributes it between MGD-generator (MGD means magnetogasodynamic) and MGD-thruster. Hypersonic air stream is radically slowed by magnetic field, created by MGD-generator. Some of this energy is used for EDS (electro-moving force). Resulting energy output - ABOVE 100 MEGAWATT. That is enough, to provide entire city with energy. And we can only guess how military modifications of this plane use all this energy (but I can assure you it will be more powerfull then lasers which destroyed White House in laughable American movie "Indepence Day")! But that is not all! Slowed ionised stream is then goes to combustion chamber, where mixture of avia-cerosine, hydrogen and oxygen is reacting. This results into enormous reactive plasma stream, which accelerates "AYaKS" to ultra-high speed. And that is not all! As I said, "AYaKS" has sophisticated MGD-thruster, which uses some of board energy. If you activate this thruster, stream of ionised matter will enormously boost reactive plasma stream, giving "AYaKS" 25-50 SONIC SPEEDS!!! That is cosmic speed, which allows "AYaKS" to break all bonds of planetary gravitation and go to space! And think what happen if "AYaKS" is equipped with Soviet plasma anti-friction generator! Not passive one like on MiG-MFI, but active one - large device, which uses lasers and high-frequency radiation to create plasmoids! That doubles "AYaKS" speed! In other words, this machine is aerocosmic cruiser with plasma magnochemical engine, which moves faster then best Western anti-missile rockets and projectiles. This machine despises air friction, inertia and speed limits! With sickle-and-hammer on its shining hull, made of very cheap, but extremely strong metal compounds! All Western Civilization won't have defence against it for centuries! FLAWLESS VICTORY OF SOVIET TECHNOLOGY!!! And that is not all. During period of Stalinism, Soviet Union created a lot of other fantastic projects. For example LPL (Letayushaya Podvodnaya Lodka - Flying Submarine Vessel) - a hybrid of submarine and aircraft. Or "Zveno" system - huge airplane which served as FLYING aircraft carrier, which carried 5 (five) fighters (they can dock AND UNDOCK in air). "Zveno" system was used by Soviets during WW2. Of course Soviet Union created a lot of other fantastic projects, like best helicopters in the world: Ka-50, Ka-52, Mi-24, Mi-28. But I will finish my story about glorious Soviet aviation (and pathetic, laughable American air forces), my capitalist friend. I hope you liked it.
