| Re: USAF vs. VVSSS (Military Air Forces of Soviet Union The MIG-15 wasn't designed for continued high speed dives because it was intended to be a bomber interceptor. And talking about dangerous aircraft. The F-104 Starfighter was actually designed to counteract the MIG-15 because the F-86 was considered to heavy. And we all know what a mongrel the F-104 turned out to be, I think Yeager would have prefered the MIG-15  | |||||||||||||
