I was on Prince edward island on the weekend and stoped by what use to be cfb summerside. One time back in the 80's the argus maritime patrol plane use to fly from here, built in canada it was a far size airplane. My mom took the pic of me as a little fart back around 1980 so going back brought back good memoris of seeing the planes when they were still in use. The plane on display is getting beat up bad by the island weather but does not look bad for all the years it has been setting there. Like to see it inside, one time they use to give tours of the inside of the plane but it has been years since they have done that.

Great Pics, you know we have some of this stuff right in our back yards and forget it is there. I remember seeing these birds coming over Oromocto quite often made a nice sound so you knew it was around nice plane would look great as a diecast model don't ya think?

Ah... that brings back memories! I remember the drone of the old Argus fondly and how you could still hear the old bird cruising long after it disappeared from sight. Wish someone made it in 1/144 metal.
