| Re: Combat Reports Good find, Warhawk, I read some of the after action reports and will go back to them One observation which I must mention is that it seems that many of the USAF pilots seem to have picked up, and put into use, much of the contemporary RAF jargon, and also modes of expression. I wonder, was this the influence of movies, media, cross-fertilisation, listening to the BBC, reading British Comic-Books, chatting in pubs, listening to the RAF R.T. chat, or what? This is a real mystery and revalation. Wartime USAF pilots are never characterised in this fashion in movies! Any ideas? MoMo | |||||||||||||
