Tank Overhaul - Military Channel, Feb. 6

A new series is starting on Feb. 6, Military Channel. It is entitled, "Tank Overhaul," and will feature the restoration of various tanks. Should be interesting.

Really......
It's just one more thing my DVR can record from the Military Channel. I think that 20th Century Battlefields is my favorite.

Has it been announced what tanks will be restored? (Sorry, but I don't turn on the tube much.)

I think there was one of these on before where they fixed some Shermans, including remounting the gun barrel in an Israeli Sherman.

Got this info from a torrent site on the Tank overhaul eps

1: Comet
The story of the A34 Comet, best British tank of WW2, and the restoration of a rare survivor at The Military History Museum

2: Panther
American billionaire Jacques Littlefield has over 300 military vehicles in his collection, and owns more tanks than any private collector in the world. He is currently working on restoring the jewel of his collection, the extremely rare and coveted Panther, in friendly competition with his British rival, Kevin Wheatcroft.

3: Sherman
Dave Arnold and his crew at the Isle of Wight Military History Museum work to restore the most famous tank of WWII as experts debate as to whether it was the machine that won the war or, as some believe, an under-designed death trap

4: Hellcat
A visit to Karl Smith's tank museum in Utah, where a team are rebuilding a Hellcat M18 tank destroyer. We meet Karl's in-house historian, Geoff Panos, a former Special Forces operative, and now a playwright and stand-up comedian
