I'm Back!

Boy, that sounds pretentious. So does the prefix: announcement. I thought about news as the prefix, but that sounds even worse.

Anyone miss me? Anyone know I was gone? Oh well. Just got back from a vacation- one week at a family reunion in Utah and a week-long cruise to Mexico.

Haven't had time to go through all the posts so what did I miss?

Hope all had a nice Christmas and New Year holiday.

Re: I'm Back!

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a worthy diversion.
Your "New Posts" count ought to be quite large.
There are some interesting things to read from this last week. I won't spoil it for you though.

Re: I'm Back!

Miss you?...Heck, we were about to put your avatar on a milk carton.

Other than Ca-(censored)-lehead coming out of the closet, ya didn't miss too terribly much.

Happy New Year and welcome back to the asylum....

Re: I'm Back!

Nice to see you Old Crow. You know in my interview with Bud, he told me that he tells his religous friends that Old Crow is named after the smartest bird in the sky, but he tells his drinking buddies that it is after the drink.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I met him a few years ago at a military art shop and he told me the same thing. He also told me his favorite P-51 was the B model; he found it more maneuverable.

Thanks for the welcome back, folks.

That's the truth too.
You need to hurry up and post your interview .
Old Crow is right about Bud saying the P-51B had a little
better maneuverable.
