Re: Age Poll

"And coming around turn three, the 35-40 yo's are leading by a length...followed closely by the 40-45 yo's and the 50-60 yo's, a furlong ahead of all the others..."

How old should you be to measure things in "furlongs" ... ?

Old enough to hang out at the track placing bets on the ponys. At 54, it is nice to see I am in good company here. It feels good.

Re: Age Poll

Weird that there are no 20-25 year old here. I wonder why...

That's typically a college-attending age. Not a lot of spending cash in that age group. And the money they got goes elsewhere.

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.

Wow, I never thought I'd be one of the young ones here. I'm 27, but I do agree with Cavtanker regarding the 20-25 group. In college, I was very much interested in WWII and diecast but the money went elsewhere most of the time. You always had money for beer and partying but nothing else

Ahhhh . . . I remember those days fondly. All that beer! Mine wasn't and issue of money for diecast (there was NO diecast then!) but the constant 'transient' lifestyle. We seemed to move from one house/apartment to the next -- then back home in the summers. I felt it was best to travel light, so nothing was collected except great memories!

Smile Re: Age Poll

I'm 26 this year and I've been fascinated by fighting planes, ships and armoured vehicles of the 20th century for about 15 of those years.
