| Hooked at an Early Age I was perusing Ebay and came across some of my favorite old diecast toys that I used to enjoy playing with in my childhood. Perhaps these sowed the seeds for my future collecting habit...who knows, but I've fond memories of these toys: Dinky Toys Cap-Firing Stuka Corgi M-60 Tank Dinky Mk I Corvette ![]() Corgi Buck Rogers Star Fighter | |||||||||||||

| Re: Hooked at an Early Age Very cool. Thanks for the pics/post. Somewhere I still have an old (Dinky???Corgi???) small camo Cobra helicopter that shoots red missles out of the nose. | |||||||||||||

That may have been Matchbox, I had one too. I think it had suffered irreparable battle damage though.

| Re: Hooked at an Early Age
Wow, that takes me back Mr F!! Without a doubt, these sowed the seed for me. I had the Dinky Spitfire with motorized prop, the F-4 Phantom with firing "missile" (it was the centerline fuel tank! ) , the Hawker Harrier, Bell 47 police helo, and several Corgi tanks, vehicles and 88mm flak gun. Somehow I held onto the 88mm and still have it in VG condition, though the shells are long gone! The nostalgia bit me some time before the current diecast wave hit the market and I bought the Dinky Spitfire and Hurricane via eBay. That was the spark that ignited a forest fire when the Corgi AA line came along!! ![]()
