Re: When is the last time you read a good book?

I read all the time, right now I am reading a book about the 8th air force. Every month I get my fix of mag's such as world war two and combat aircraft, I have so many books at home that I could start a book club lol.

Re: When is the last time you read a good book?

Last Aviation book I read was "Vulcan 607" Can t remember the author, and I'm not sure if it's available in the States, but if you can get hold of it it's a great read.

it the story of the first Vulcan Blackbuck raid on the Falklands in 1982, and goes into the buildup and preparation for this in some detail. Definitely

Re: When is the last time you read a good book?

I've purchased a bunch, but haven't read 'em --- only read a couple books of any type during the past 5 years.... wait, my twin girls are 5 years old... is there a connection there?

I did read Flags of our Fathers cover to cover and it was awesome (so much better than the film...)

Re: When is the last time you read a good book?

I've always got a book going and my stack is getting higher not shorter. Hit a "Going Out Of Business" sale at a bookstore and cleaned up. I've been an avid reader since I was a kid and read a variety of subjucts, but military history is my favorite with an emphasis on WWII airwar. Vietnam airwar makes good reading too. My last book was "The Rescue of Streetcar 304" by Kenny Wayne Fields and it was great. One of my favorite books, among several, is "Low Level Hell" by Hugh Mills about red and pink teams is 'Nam. He flew an OH-6 cayuse and it is a marvelous first person account.
