No! You're both wrong. It was Radar who was mailing a jeep back home, bit by bit. ( about Series 3 ? )

Are you sure about that MoMo? You may be right, but doesn't seem in character for Radar. Mustangdriver, can you confirm one way or the other?

PS. and it was definitely Klinger who was eating a jeep!

Re: Pieces of ramp or runways form WWII bases

I'm absolutely sure that Radar mailed back a jeep to Iowa, part by part, so that he would have something to drive when he got home. I recall the incident. It may be the one where Radar takes the correspondance course ( perhaps it was in MASH, the movie ) but it did happen.

I looked over the " Official " Mash site, but their blurb on the episodes is to sparse. I'll look at my DVDs of the first 4 series later.

It was Radar who mailed the jeep. One of the first couple of seasons, as I recall.

After much research, the correct answer is (drum roll).....

Radar mailed the jeep and Klinger ate the jeep....

Re: Pieces of ramp or runways form WWII bases

Thanks for the confirmation Top Hat and BSmith 13,

I had a feeling that it was one of the episodes from the first three seasons with Henry the Great in charge. What a brilliant character he made.

As I've mentioned before, I could not understand the intention of the producers when they shipped Henry off and then killed him.

Did he want to leave the series before he was type-cast? I think that it was a great loss to a great series!

If memory serves, he left to do his own show which unfortunately went nowhere.

I don't know why he left, but it was his decision, and then the producers decided to kill him off.
