Very cool Convair YB-60. You don't see that everyday.

Re: Post your desktop2

This is an awesome view.Is it a real shot, or a digital image from a Playstation II game? Either way, it's an interesting perspective.

It's a photo taken from the B-17 Aluminum Overcast on approach to Riverside airport in Tulsa, Oklahoma. (not by me unfortunately)

That's too cool. My dad and I may have been there that day. He got to take a ride in the Overcast. This was back when they used to let you sit in the pilots seat, I've got a cool piture of it.

Riverside is approx. three miles from OMI. It's one of the best airports for warbird watching. They have A B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell, HU-16 Albatross, (4) P-51 Mustangs, (8) T-6 Texans, (4) PT-17 Kaydets, (3) T-28 Trojans, (3) Yak warbirds, and a bunch more Im sure I'm leaving out. I love to go up there on Saturday mornings during the summer when everyone has there hangar doors open. You get to see some really neat aircraft. This airport is also a maintenance center for the Commemorative Air Force so you can imagine the cool stuff that stops by.

Re: Post your desktop2

I was luck enough to get stick time in Fuddy Duddy, ow it is the same thing, they will not allow you into the cockpit. It is kind of sad, because one of my greatest memories will always be feeling the power of that migthy fortress through her yoke.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Oh yeah, there is a girl there. I was too busy looking at the beautiful FW-190.

What you mean you didn't get Mrs MD to pose for that
