Re: Happy Birthday Jim!!!

EH??????????????????????????????????????????????

What?????????????????????????????????????????

Well I dont know what to say, I am overwhelmed by your kindness.

Many thanks to you all for the birthday greetings it was a wonderful surprise for me.
What more could a chap ask for, a great forum good friends P40s and beer all waiting for when I logged on.

AND
Two FM P40s for my birthday and no hassle from Lorraine.
The P40 with the travel badges arrived and I think its great. the stripey bombs underneath take some getting used to but I must say its not that bad a model of a P40N.
But then I do have a slight bias towards P40s so my vision is a little blurred.

Just as long as I dont park them next to the Carousel models they look real good.
I think one or two more FMs might find themselves coming this way.
Oh nearly forgot ,I also got a Dragon Tunisia 4th Fs USAAF Spitfire too. Its still in the box but looks good from the outside.Hmm OK hang in there a minute and I will open up the box and have a look,

Wheres my reading glasses?

What, no tail wheel in the box! oh heck, I bought it off ebay for about $9.00, oh well so is life.
There is no doubt that Gemini takes the prize for best Spitfire in 1/72, I think I prefer Corgis offering ahead of this particular Dragon plane. Oh well each to his own.
Well its time to take the dogs for a run down the woods and let them chase a few rabbits,(they never catch any).
It gives Lorraine time to get the cauldron going, oops sorry I mean get the cooker on of course and make the dinner while I am out.

Once again gentlemen many thanks.

JIM.

God Bless America.

Re: Happy Birthday Jim!!!

Belated birthday wishes Jim lad. Below are a few things that you must do when you're over 50 (I know)
Never pass a toilet without using it
Never take any fart for granted
Too rude to post on a public forum!!

All the way Cavtanker ,no more fifties left after this year!!

With age comes wisdom, unfortunately so does aching knees bad memory and a need for toilets to be available on demand!

Many thanks MO, Bye the way, pack a bag we are off to Captains place for a loooooooong vacation. The weathers great there, you will be pleased to hear that he has a big garage so you will have lots of space.

God Bless America.
