.....now what to think?.....

I think we have at least identified who is the pessimist and who is the optimist.

Re: Thinkin' bout selling out..

Sell some of the ones you don't really want, keep some of the ones you really like, display a few to get the enjoyment out of them, then reevaluate in about six months. A happy medium never hurt anybody.

Re: Thinkin' bout selling out..

Yeh, I think that is what I will do..

My wife is actually the one who got my collection started.. For every "event" birthdays, Christmas, Valentines Day, etc - She would get me some little airplane.. Then she found the Matchbox planes and started giving me those.. It snowballed from there.. So she is very supportive of the hobby..

She has only put a "restriction" on me once and that was when we were all clammoring to get the Flying Mule's 262.. I could buy one as long as if I sold it, I'd help pay a bill or two with SOME of the money earned off it..

The difference between involvement and commitment: A chicken who provides an egg is involved with a tasty breakfast, a pig who provides the bacon is committed.

Is a pessimist not an optimist with experience?

Nope, a realist is an optimist with experience.
