Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

I remember Barry Binds as a Pirate not being able to throw out Sid Bream running on two bad knees in the mid 90's causing the pirates the pennant. I have a shirt that says "Where were you when Sid slid."

Now that is a classic shirt. I remember watching that play.....My favorite "classic" t-shirt is my "Feel Lucky Punk?" Clint/Dirty Harry special.

Ya...they were happy times huh....Now look at them..

Yeah, but they HAD to pull it together for one week against my Chiefs. We caught them at the absolute worst time with their backs against the wall and were hammered! Oh well, things change fast in the NFL.

Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

Growing up in the Detroit area but living here in St. Louis the last 4 years, this was a hard series for me - didn't know who I wanted to win more. All of my family is still in Michigan and was rooting for the Tigers but my kids are big Cards fans. In the end, the Cardinals played strong and I was glad to see them win.

Hopefully, they'll learn from this and get back to World Series.

Think the Tigers' pitchers will work on fielding and throwing to bases in Spring Training?

Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

If it makes you feel any better, I was in Detroit for the SuperBowl last year. I think that the city did an amazing job on it.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
