Talking Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

Growing up in Michigan, I rooted for the Tigers. Now I live in St. Louis and pull for the Cardinals (when I can catch a game). If it comes down to Tigers vs. Cardinals in the World Series, I'm gonna root for my old favorites - GO TIGERS!!!!

Oh yeah, M GO BLUE!!!!

Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

Big game between the Cards and the Mets tonight! Who do you Tigers' fans wish we'd play?

I think the Mets:

1. Neither team has that great of pitching but the Mets are worse.
2. I don't want to suffer through all the touchy feeling, Larusa and Leland are such good friends crap...they talk to each other all the time!

Sissy lala garbage! This is the World Serious for God's sake! And there's no room for that crap! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer, dead, Larusa, dead!!

3. I can't wait to beat both N.Y. teams in the same year and shut FOX's stupid face and 12 million other people's.

Enjoy the game everyone.

Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

I'm down here in Cardinal country. If the Redbirds win I can listen to Mike Shannon do the games on radio. Not quite Ernie Harwell, but he is fun. Both NL teams are limping into the Series. If you were to combine the 2 pitching staffs they might have a chance. .....The Tigers need to get it done in 4.....It's too damn cold to p-lay baseball........I do like the thought of them whipping the Mets more. ...Like the N.Y. sweep angle.

Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

I'd like to win at home actually so a sweep is not good for that.

Is it 2-3-2 again? Must be. So winning at home means it has to go 6...eesh!

Cold is right! 40 degrees right now and howling wind. Baseball in October.

Sounds like a night time game when the Giants were at Candlestick park - in July!

Good game tonight. That Chavez catch was amazing!

Parsig9's prediction sounds about right. Tigers are going to kill 'em.

Re: The Detroit Tigers are on a roll!

Well that game was not what i thought it was going to be.
The Cards win Game 1 .
Maybe the Tigers are just a little rusty during their time off.
Still have 6 more games to be played.
