Diplay cabinet question

I am close to buying my first display cabinet.
Shelf size will be one meter wide, 40cm deep. There will be six shelves with 35cm between them.
Not sure if the distance between shelves is enough (or too much) for (mostly) 1/72 scale planes.
Any thoughts?

Can we try with real bullets now?

Those sizes give you tons of room to display even the Corgi heavies on their stands. It should also give you space to add shelves once you see the models on display.

Re: Diplay cabinet question

Looks like you are OK on room. One thing I do to get more planes on my shelves is to vary my display modes. To do this I deliberately display a number of Corgi, Dragon and other models wheels- down. These are then intermixed with models in the wheels-up mode to create a layering effect. Result: I've got many more planes on display per shelf, yet almost all are clearly visible.

Re: Diplay cabinet question

Nice deep shelves, should make for a great display.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

you can NEVER have too much room. If you're like me, you WILL find ways to fill them.
